Item 4: ZOOM PANEL #3. MONDAY, AUGUST 2 AT 4:30PM PT (Pacific Time): Golden Triangle - Asian Elephant Foundation
Watch the Zoom panel here!

Zoom Challenge: Elephants are endangered due to issues like habitat loss and human-wildlife conflict, and they're not the only species suffering. Turn Human-Wildlife Conflict into Human-Wildlife Co-existence: Invent a kind solution to help you coexist with other critters as you compete for resources (the bugs in your house, that rabbit that steals from your garden, snack-happy backyard elephants, etc.). Be mindful of ALL species in your area for example, "bee fences" work in Africa because elephants are afraid of bees (really!), but don't work in Asia because they attract bears.

Comment: Swimming pool for frogs next to ours to avoid them going in ours and avoiding them from dying.

Comment: My mom was DELIGHTED that I put this up for her. She got these two kittens a few months ago after my dad passed away, and she dotes on them relentlessly. She wanted them to be able to enjoy being outside while also being safe, and I think this solution will work out so well. I used thin netting so it doesn't obstruct the view , and it is sturdy enough that I could hang off of it myself. Bert and Ernie pictured, enjoying their new space.
