Item 128: At the 1904 World’s Fair, they ran out of ice cream cups. That moment of desperation led to the invention of the Waffle Cone. Now, we’re in another moment of desperation as plastic food packaging chokes our waterways. Invent a brand new, 100% edible food container that no one has ever seen before which keeps our hands tidy and our food portable while eliminating all waste.

Comment: This is a bowl made out of sugar (and glucose, food dye, & vanilla extract). It contains scoops of vanilla, chocolate & strawberry ice cream, topped with chocolate sauce, strawberries, and whipped cream, and did a really good job of holding it all and keeping my hand dry! Also tasted great.

Comment: It came out a bit oily, but I think it has promise! Would definitely walk around a fair or food truck festival with an edi-bowl.

Comment: You might need to have patience, as it takes a good 6 hours to make, or if - like me - your oven is not that great closer to 10, but it tastes delicious. Strawberry leather cups, made from strawberries, and a little honey and lemon juice.
