Item 37: What's something that you've never cooked or baked because it just seemed too daunting or difficult? Something you would never even begin to attempt to create no matter how good a chef you were. Cook that thing. Submit a side-by-side image showing what you created in one image; in the other, an example of an expert-level creation of the same food.

Comment: We always wanted to do a bake-along with the amazing bakers of Great British Bake Off. This is our attempt (left) of Paul Jagger's incredible bread lion (right)- which earned him special commendation on the show.

Comment: I’ve been a fan of watching baking competitions since I was as small as this Napoleon(not to be confused with the slightly taller Napoleon Bonaparte). So, I tried my hand at the French twist on a Mille Feuille and, afternoon hours of grueling wisking, I produce a Napoleon with only slightly curdled pastry cream!

Comment: A cream puff swan, my first ever attempt at choux pastry :)

Team TeamMoose&Squirrel

Comment: A Motherboard Cake from Rosanna Pansino’s “Nerdy Nummies” Cookbook. I’ve always wanted to bake this cake but I was so overwhelmed with all the details and candy that goes on it. I am super happy that I finally made it, and I love the way it turned out. The top picture is from the book, and the bottom picture is my cake.
