Item 9: Care homes, rehab facilities, and hospitals have many patients and clients who can't read for themselves. Contact a local center and offer your services to read for an hour or two (or more) during the Hunt Week. Comment: My cousin Duane is blind and lives with his 108 yr old mother at a retirement facility. I went to visit them both to bring them some candy and read to Duane from some books to make him smile. - Kathy

I am a doctor, and i have worked in children's wards for ages, but until now I did not realize how involved they get while listening to stories. Me and my friend decided we will do it more often from now.
