Item 122: We The People… are confused. Let’s update a dusty document and modernize it so everyone can understand the language. Grab some chalk, head outside and rewrite the US Constitution as street art. As Richard Dobbs Speight once said. “Bigger is better.”

Comment: It's as plain as the writing on the wall

Comment: City Hall was too slow in responding to our request to do the art at a govt building. Damn the bureaucracy! After 12+ hours of prep and work, I learned that I never want to do chalk art again. But, I'm proud of it - please show Misha!!! Mary Cornell

Comment: No paved driveways around here and streets are too busy... so I improvised on my wooden stairs that go down to the lake... too bad I couldn't write it on the water ;)

Comment: I was truly amazed by how many people stopped to read the constitution as I was writing it. Many of them also asked me why and were thrilled to discover this weird thing called GISHWHES... Amanda Kraft

Comment: The great thing with abou what I got to teach my kids and the 9 other kids that were at the birthday pool party where I spent 3 hours drawing this. Every kid spent at least some part of their afternoon asking me questions. Go Future Leaders!!

Comment: The First 10 Amendments to the US Constitution (known as the Bill of Rights) written in modern speak in front of the Iowa State Capitol Building because that felt appropriate. Hopefully Steve King stops by to read them.
